Thanks for sharing. Some organizations may have enough with Figma; however, when the organization and design team grow and mature, we need to be more strategic, and indeed, it must scale up. Especially when working on complex products, designers and organizations start thinking about productivity and efficiency. Penpot is interesting in that they see both the design and development sides. ( I need to investigate more.) We need a system to connect design and front-den development world.
