When I called myself a graphic designer and seeing actual printed work in front of me, I was like James Brown, feels so good. Then, years passed, 99% of my work has become digital. IF someone pushes a Delete button, it’ll be gone forever.
I have many CDs and DVDs which stored my old work. As you can guess, I don’t have a reader to play them. If you remember Apple’s 1GB zip driver, how you can retrieve the data now? I don’t want to think about it, but what would it happen opening my files if I unsubscribe Adobe Cloud?
Trying 1% of my design work in printing related even its process is still digital. The preciousness level is totally different. “Maaaai preeccioooous” (Gollum)
Fashion goes and comes back some years later, but technology doesn’t.
